What makes diving so Incredible in Mozambique is the sheer abundance of wonderful Marine species in our waters. Not only are we home to the beautiful and majestic Whalesharks, we are also home to many different species of Rays, From the much loved Manta Ray to the largest ray in the world – the Small Eyed Stingray. Turtles are also spotted often and our stretch of beach is home to Green turtles, Loggerheads, Hawksbills and Leatherbacks!.
Mozambique also plays host to many species of Pelagic fish, from Tuna to Sailfish. There is also an abundance of smaller (but no less wonderful) creatures such as
Frogfish, Leaf Fish, Scorpionfish, Stone Fish, Harlequin Shrimp, Peacock Mantis Shrimp, Sea Moths, Ribbon Eels, Moray Eels and much, much more!
Our ocean is tropical and we have wonderful diving temperature all year round, ranging from 29˚C in the summer months to around 22˚C in the winter.
Visibility can range from 8m-40m depending on plankton, wind direction and other factors and this may also influence our choice of Dive Sites on the day.
We have a variety of Dive Sites to suit every qualification and level, as well as a wonderful shallow reefs close to shore that make us the perfect venue for training new divers.
